How is everyone’s summer going? I hope it’s as well as mine, jam-packed with awesome scouting experiences! Our summer camping season is over, but let me tell you, I believe it was a HUGE success. Each week we had an extraordinary Ordeal call-out ceremony, and joined in fellowship for an ice cream social as well as conducting weekly Brotherhood interviews! Congratulations to all of our new Ordeal Candidates, we hope to see you all in August!
As far as the August weekend goes, make sure you pre-register for it! Its crucial that we get a count to make sure we can maximize your centennial experience in all aspects. Also note that due to the extension of the weekend to 4 days, the cost has been raised to $25 with your pre-registration. Silver Arrowmen have no additional cost as they are already prepaid.
The August Weekend:
Ordeal Candidates and Service Staff should arrive around 6:00 PM on Thursday and the rest of the lodge on Friday. There will be an LEC meeting for all chairmen and advisers commencing at 8pm. The Ordeal process will take place a day early to ensure Candidates/New Members get the full experience of the Centennial! The Brotherhood Ceremony and the Vigil Honor Ceremony will take place Saturday night.
Activity Schedule has not yet been released, and Service Projects will happen Friday.
